We are very happy to announce that Søren Ryan is the new drummer in Fate. We are very much looking forward to working on the new album with him, as well as do live shows with Søren next year.

I am very happy to announce that Fate is finally back and we are currently busy writing and recording material for a new album. The line-up however has changed slightly as Peer Johansson is now back on lead vocals. We are very excited about the new material being written and having Peer back in the band and can’t wait to share these new songs with everyone.
In addition to Fate, I am writing songs for four different projects, but also doing session work and mix and master sessions on the side. This unfortunately means, that I am running quite a bit behind on finishing up my new all instrumental album, as well as the new Acacia Avenue album.
I am still working on both albums whenever I find a bit of free time, but time, as you can imagine, is a bit limited at the moment. I will however continue to work on both albums of course, and I will continue to keep you posted on the progress right here.
I will soon be able to share a lot more info on the various projects I am working on at the moment, so stay tuned...

I am almost completely done writing all of the new songs for my new all instrumental album and I am very happy to announce, that my good friends Pete Steincke (Fate) and Dennis Hansen (Acacia Avenue, Section A) once again will be backing me, and as always, provide a steady and tight groove on all tracks.
The new Acacia Avenue album is also coming along very nicely. I am still working on the new material, but I hope to be done in a few months. I am going to be playing all the guitars and keys as always, as well as singing on a few songs, but I am of course going to have quite a few of my good friends participate as well. I will soon be able to let you know who else will be participating on this album, so please stay tuned...

The new Decoy album, "Without Warning", which was released through Perris Records back in September, has been very well received indeed and has received some very positive reviews so far. Here's a few examples: Metal-Temple.com (10/10), viriAOR (90/100), Melodic Rock Palace (8/10), Real Music Reviews In Real Time (9.1/10), Rock Meeting (4/5) and Hard Rock Info (No score, but a very positive review).
I am currently very busy writing and recording new songs for a few different projects. I am still working on the new Acacia Avenue album, as well as a new all instrumental album, but I am unfortunately a bit behind schedule on both of these albums due to my involvement in these other projects. I do however hope that I will have all songs written for both albums by the end of the year.

My good friend Uffe Grydgaard has just recently released his debut album, entitled “Secrets from the Palace”. The style is prog rock/hard rock and apart from Uffe himself, the album features Damian Wilson (Arena, Threshold) and Micheal Mills (Toehider, Star One) on vocals. I had the pleasure of co-producing the album with Uffe and I also did a solo on a track called “Time Lapse”.

I am very happy to announce that my new all instrumental album, entitled "Transition", will be released through Perris Records next month.
The album features Pete Steincke (Fate) on bass and Dennis Hansen (Acacia Avenue, Section A) on drums. I did the guitars and keyboards myself, along with the mix and mastering.
The final production comprises 10 hard rock/heavy instrumentals exclusively and here’s a complete track list: In Orbit, Backslide, Beyond The Sky, Fool-proof, Out Of The Ordinary, DNA, Home, Memories, Bounce Back and Enough Said.

I am very happy to announce that my new all instrumental album, as well as the album I have been working on with Peter Sundell (C.O.P., Grand Illusion), now has been completed. It all took a bit longer than anticipated, but I haven't been able to focus completely on these albums due to other commitments. I will be able to share a lot more details about both releases very soon, so please stay tuned
I am still working on the new Acacia Avenue album, writing more songs and doing edits and whatnot. I am now shooting for the album to be completed
some time this fall. In terms of style, this album will be a blend of AOR, classic rock and hard rock, and as mentioned earlier, feature some truly great singers, who also happens to be very good friends of mine.
Apart from this, I am currently busy writing new songs for various projects, and in the process of changing DAW in my studio, so all in all, I've got a fairly busy and hopefully very productive summer ahead of me.

I am very happy to announce that my good friend Pete Steincke (Fate) is not only playing the bass on my new all instrumental album, he is also going to play bass on the new album that I’m working on with Peter Sundell (C.O.P., Grand Illusion). His playing has already added a lot to the instrumental tracks and will surely do the same to the vocal ones as well.
Regarding the new all instrumental album, the mixing process is going very well and the album should be be completed in about a month or so.
As for the album that I’m working on with Peter Sundell, we are now only a few songs away from having a full album, so I hope for this album to be completed in early spring 2022.
The new Acacia Avenue album is also coming along very nicely. I am right now halfway in and hope for this album to be completed by late spring/early summer 2022.

Here’s a brief update on what’s going on right now…
I have just begun the mixing process of my new all instrumental album. I have recorded a total of 16 tracks, which I am going to narrow down to 10. I feel that all songs are equally strong in their own right, but I don’t want too many songs on just one album. I plan on writing more songs as soon as I have the time, and those new songs, combined with the songs that don’t end up on this album, will end up on another album, hopefully to be released a year or so after this one.
Regarding the new album I’m working on with Peter Sundell (C.O.P., Grand Illusion), things are slowly moving forward and I am currently busy writing more new songs. I hope to have all songs written by the end of the year.
I am also busy writing new songs for the new Acacia Avenue album. This album is once again going to feature a variety of great singers and I will soon be able to share more details on this album as well.

All recordings for my new instrumental album are now close to being complete. I just need to redo a few things and add some fills and whatnot. If all goes well, I will start mixing the album in a few weeks from now.
Regarding the new album that I'm working on with Peter Sundell (C.O.P., Grand Illusion), we are now pretty much halfway in and I am currently busy writing more songs for this project. The style is mainly melodic hard rock, but with a slight touch of AOR and metal.

So far, 2021 has been the busiest year that I can recall. Apart from working on my own projects, I have been busy doing various session work for other artists as well. This has taken up a lot of my time, and due to all these different deadlines I have had to meet, I haven’t been able to focus as much on my own projects as I had hoped for. Still, progress is being made although perhaps on a slightly smaller scale than initially anticipated.
Right now I am at the final stages of recording my new all instrumental album and I am very happy to announce, that my good friend and Fate band mate, Pete Steincke, is participating on the bass. Having him on board has certainly boosted the entire production and added some serious flavour to the low end. Along with Pete, Dennis Hansen is once again playing the drums, so the rhythm section is certainly tight and seriously rockin’!
I am equally happy to announce, that I am currently working very closely with another good old friend of mine, namely singer Peter Sundell (C.O.P., Grand Illusion). We are in the middle of doing a new album together, which is going to be in a melodic hard rock style. I am very happy with the songs we have recorded so far and I can’t wait to be able to share more details on this collaboration with you all.
I am also working on the 5th Acacia Avenue album. The style is a blend between melodic hard rock, AOR and classic rock. The new album is going to feature different singers as always, and I will be doing the honours on a few songs myself. I will post some more info on this album as soon as I’m a little further along with the production.
Apart from these 3 albums, I am also involved in a few other projects, but I’m afraid that it’s too soon to share any info on this just yet. I will however do so as soon as I can.

I am still working on my new all instrumental album and making serious progress, but due to various other obligations, I haven't been able to finish this production as quickly as I had hoped. Still, I am very excited about this new material and I hope to be able to complete the album in a month or two.
I have just started writing for a new project with a singer that I have worked with a few times in the past. The style is going to be melodic hard rock with a healthy dose of metal, as well as AOR, thrown in. I will be able to reveal more details about this very soon.
That's about it for now. This has truly been a terrible year for us all and I can't wait to enter 2021...

The new Rob Moratti solo album, entitled "Paragon", is being released today through AOR Heaven. I am playing guitar and keys on the album, and I also wrote a couple of songs with Rob, as well as did the mix with him. You can check out a song from the album, called "I'm Falling", right here...
I am still busy working on my new all instrumental album, but due to other projects and their respective deadlines, I haven't been able to focus 100% on this album. I did however find time to do a cover version of Joe Satriani's "Memories". I didn't try to do an exact copy of the original version, as that to me is perfection. I merely did my take on this awesome track as a tribute to the song and artist, nothing more. You can check it out right here...

I am once again very sorry for taking so long to update the site, but here's finally some info on what's happening right now...
The new Pinnacle Point album, entitled "Symphony Of Mind", is going to be released through Escape Music on July the 17th. I have written a couple of songs for the album and I am featured on guitar and keyboards as well.
I am currently busy working on my new all instrumental album, which I hope to be completed this summer. I have written 16 songs for the album, of which 10 are going to make the final cut. I am very much looking forward to the album being completed and released, which hopefully will be this fall. I will keep you posted of course.
I am also right now working on the new Rob Moratti solo album, which is going to be completed very soon. I have written a couple of songs with Rob for the album and will be playing the guitar and do the mix. More on this very soon...
A few months back, I was asked to participate in a video jam for the song "Rock You Like A Hurricane" by Scorpions. Apart from myself, the jam features Michael Denner (Ex-Mercyful Fate, Denner's Inferno), Michael Stützer Hansen (Artillery), Dagfinn Joensen (Ex-Fate, Bloody Dice), Mikkel Henderson (Fate) and more. The whole thing was initiated by Peter Hansen (Midnight Blues) as a tribute to all the beautiful and hard working health care workers everywhere.
We are still in the process of writing songs for a new Fate album, but due to the current pandemic we have had to take a break from seeing each other for a while, and that has unfortunately slowed things down quite a bit. Hopefully we will get back on track very soon and continue fine tuning all the ideas we now have and start preparing for the actual recordings. I expect to have much more info on this very soon.

Very sorry for once again taking so long to update the site, but it's been a very busy year for me and by the looks of things, 2020 is going to be even busier.
Here's a brief rundown of what I am currently up to...
I am almost completely done writing all the material for a brand new all instrumental album, which I will start recording in a month or two. I hope for this album to be completed and released around the summer of next year.
I am also working on the new Rob Moratti solo album, due out some time next year. I have written a few songs with Rob for the album and will be playing the guitar and do the mix.
I am also heavily involved in writing songs for a new Fate album. We are right now in the process of fine tuning ideas and preparing for the actual recordings. I will have much more info on this very soon.
Apart from these projects, I am also writing songs for a brand new collaboration which I am very excited about. It is unfortunately too soon for me to reveal any specific details, but I will be sure to keep you posted on this and everything else as soon as possible.

I am very sorry for taking so long to update the site yet again. I have been extremely busy in the studio, writing and recording new material.
Anyway, a lot has happened since my latest update, so here are a few headlines...
One of the projects that I have been busy finishing up, is the latest solo album by Rob Moratti (Ex-Saga, Final Frontier). Apart from doing all guitars and quite a few keyboards, I have been very involved in the writing and mixing process of the album. We are now finally happy to announce that the album is scheduled to be released through AOR Heaven in Europe on June the 21st.The album will once again feature the fretless monster, Tony Franklin, on bass, Stu Reid on drums and Fredrik Bergh on keyboards.
I am very excited to announce that Fate is finally back in business after a somewhat lengthy hiatus. We are currently working on new material and are all looking forward to start recording new material again. I will of course have much more info on this as soon as we are a little furher along.
I am also right now involved in a couple of fairly big projects, which are going to be taking up a good deal of my time in the monhts to come. It is however a little too soon for me to give out any details, but I will be sure to keep you posted on everything as soon as I am able to.

I'm afraid that I don't have an actual date of release for the new Acacia Avenue album just yet, but it is going to be released through Perris Records in about 6 weeks or so. I will of course be sure to announce the date as soon as I know for sure.
I am very happy to announce that my new all instrumental album will be completed in a couple of weeks. I have written and recorded a total of 14 tracks, but only 12 will make the final cut. The style is not that different from my previous solo album, but I have experimented a bit more with the guitar sound on this one, as well as added more keyboards overall.

The mix of the new Acacia Avenue album unfortunately got delayed a little bit, but I am now very happy to announce that the album is going to be completely finished next week.
Carl-André Beckston is currently busy doing the artwork for the album, which is going to be called "Worlds Apart". I am very happy to announce that the latest Section A album, "Wall Of Silence", is now scheduled to be re-released on September the 29th, through Metalapolis Records.
As some of you may recall, the album was originally signed to Mausoleum Records, but due to the sudden and tragic passing of the owner, Alfie Falckenbach, the album only saw a US release.
The re-release of this album has atually been in the works for quite a while now, but because of practical matters, it hasn't been possible to make this happen until now.
I will have a lot more details on this re-release very soon, as well as a thorough update on my various projects, so please stay tuned.

I am very sorry for taking so long to update the site. A lot has happened since my latest update, so here are a few headlines.
I have a new album coming out very soon. It's by a brand new band project called Pinnacle Point and the album is entitled "Winds Of Change". The album features Jerome Mazza (Ex-Angelica) on vocals, and as always, my good buddy Dennis Hansen on the drums. I take care of all guitars and the bass, and I also play quite a bit of keyboards on the album. The style is a blend of melodic hard rock and classic rock, but spiced with a healthy dose of prog rock. I will of course keep you posted on updates and the actual date of release right here. A video is also in the making, so I will soon be sharing a link to that as well.
I am currently busy writing and recording for the fourth Acacia Avenue album, which I hope to be completed this summer. As always, the new album will feature great vocal performances by some extremely talented singers. I will soon be able to reveal the names, so please stay tuned for that, as well as for various updates on the writing and recording process.
I am involved in a few other projects as well, but I am not able to share any info on those just yet. I will let you know more as soon as I can.
Before long I hope to be able to share some very positive information on a worldwide release of "Wall Of Silence". I know that a lot of you have been very disappointed by the lack of a proper release, but I sincerely hope to be able to make up for this very soon. I will of course let you know as soon as I know more about this myself.

I have received a lot of e-mails from fans of Section A, wondering why they have not been able to purchase the new album after it was supposed to have been released worldwide on February the 26th. I am very sorry for the confusion and the lack of a solid explanation on my part. The truth of the matter is, that I had no idea what was going on. I tried to contact Alfie Falckenbach, the head of Mausoleum Records, several times this past month in order to get some kind of explanation, but he never got back to me. It wasn't until a few days ago that I learned the tragic news. Alfie was very sick with Cancer, but had told no one.
I am very sad to say that he lost his battle with Cancer on March 1st. This is why the release and distribution of the new album has been very uncoordinated and inadequate. I am of course very sorry about all of this and I am right now doing my best to make the album available to you all. This is however not entirely up to me and not an easy task by any means, so please bear with me. I will of course do my very best and make sure to keep you posted on everything. Thank you all for your patience and my heart goes out to Alfie's family and friends.

I am happy to announce that Rob Moratti (Ex-Saga, Final Frontier) will be singing three songs on the new Acacia Avenue album. The titles are “A New Beginning”, “All For Love” and “Running Out Of Time”. The song called “Running Out Of Time” will also feature my good friend and band mate, Peter Steincke (Fate), who is playing the bass on this track. More news to come…

All the recordings for the new Acacia Avenue album are now almost completed. A lot of great singers and musicians are being featured and I am very happy to announce that Steve Newman (Newman) will once again be participating. He is doing the vocals on two tracks called "Early Warning" and "Time To Listen". I will start mixing the album next month and I will of course keep you posted on the progress right here.

I'm afraid that Mausoleum Records have decided to push back the release of the new Section A album a bit. This means that the album is now scheduled to be released in early February of next year. I will soon have more details, so stay tuned.

All the songs for the new Acacia Avenue album have now been written and all recordings for six of those songs are nearly done, so the new album is slowly, but steadily coming together.
Yesterday Albin Ljungqvist stopped by my studio to record the vocals for a track called "Broken Dreams". He did a killer job and I am very happy with the song and the fact that Albin is participating once again. I will soon have more news on this album, so stay tuned.

I am currently busy writing and recording songs for the third Acacia Avenue album. I am very excited about the progress and I will soon be able to reveal some specific details.

I am very happy to announce that I have just signed a deal with Mausoleum Records on the release of the new Section A album. The album, entitled “Wall Of Silence”, is scheduled to be released some time this Fall. As soon as I have more details and a specific date of release, I will of course be sure to let you know right here.

I am happy to announce that the new Section A album has now finally been completed. Everything took a lot longer than expected, but at the end of the day, all that matters is the end result. Here's a complete track list: The Wall Of Silence, Finding The One, All That Matters, No Tomorrow, How Long, Pray For Freedom, Bleeding Chains, Holding On and finally When All Is Falling. I will have more details on this album very soon, so stay tuned.

Welcome to the brand new web site. I felt it was time for a change, so I hope you like the new look. As you can see, the site is still under construction, but it will be completed very soon.
We have now almost completed all the recordings for the new Section A album and I will start mixing the album in the beginning of next month.
Fate is back in the rehearsal room, getting ready for our first gig this year. We are playing at “High Voltage” here in Copenhagen on February the 28th. More gigs will be announced shortly. I’m afraid that I still have no news on the release of the new Fate album however, but I will of course let you know right here as soon as I know anything at all.
I have recently been working quite a bit with the great Canadian singer, Rob Moratti (Ex-Saga, Final Frontier). The most recent result is of course the two songs we wrote together for the Acacia Avenue album, “Cold”. Now however, there’s more music on the way. I am featured on a new album, on which Rob is covering all Journey songs. The album is entitled, “Rob Moratti’s Tribute To Journey”, and the album will be released on March 20th, through Escape Music. There is however much more to come, so stay tuned…
